The J-Glove was invented in 2009 by Jeremy Russotti but the idea behind the shooting aid was built in the gym many years before.  Currently Jeremy Russotti is the CEO of 1% CLUB Basketball Services, inventor of Velocity Bands, and co-founder of www.HoopGainsTraining.com.

Jeremy spent 5 years as a varsity head coach at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma, CA. Within his team, he developed a close bond and relationship with two of his players – Angelo Tsagarakis (Oregon State) and Josh Akognon (Washington St/Cal State Fullerton). Both players earned California State Division Players of the Year and Akognon went on to become a NCAA All-American (Led NCAA in 3-Pointers made in 2009). Together, they spent endless hours together training with the belief that only a small population trained at their level, they jokingly labeled themselves with the "1% CLUB" Basketball Moniker.  Both guys averaged 120+ 3-Pointers made per season (27 games), and were considered some of the top shooters in the country.  It wasn't until Coach Russotti was directing a training clinic where he realized that if he could turn his ideas and philosophies into a shooting aid, it could help players all over the world become better shooters.

1% CLUB Basketball resources include a plethora of top instructional aids, DVDs (Millennium Series), and training programs.   Jeremy Russotti trains multiple McDonalds All-Americans, Overseas Professionals, NBA, WNBA, and College prospects with his “Green Room Training Professional” All-Inclusive program. Most recently, Jeremy partnered with Nike Body Conditioning Trainer Alan Stein, in forming HoopGainsTraining.com (HGT).  HGT will include 300+ body and skill downloadable workouts for each age level.  His unique, functional, yet challenging curriculum has separated himself  from other trainers with his uncanny ability to get results in a very short time. Furthermore, Jeremy has recently been selected to speak at many major Coaching Associations Clinics as a headline presenter all throughout the country and abroad.

Coach Russotti doesn't just train his athletes to become successful, but mentally to become unstoppable.   Says Coach Russotti, "There is more than just victory or success.  There is an ideal victory, or beautiful victory.  I want my clients to become basketball artists - striving for more than just having success, but almost perfection. I believe that expectation is where our training separates from most others." 

Now Coach Russotti follows his passion and dreams in spreading his principles and training methods to a variety of basketball programs and determined basketball players through the nation.  Shooting a basketball is a universal language, and the J-Glove  is the vehicle to help spread 1% CLUB Basketball teaching principles all across the nation and abroad.
